More slots coming online for South Africans

It’s news we’ve been waiting on for absolute ages – our gaming boards are slowly but surely allowing ever more online and mobile slots for the South African online casino connoisseur to enjoy!

While we have access to some great international quality online and mobile slots, we are limited to playing them at the internationally licensed offshore online casinos – until now.

Recent developments within the local South African gambling legislation are seeing more and more locally licensed online sports books opening up their very own online and mobile casinos for our playing pleasure. For a while now these local playing partners have been limited to bringing Live Casino and maybe a couple of Virtual Sport offerings to the sports betting audience.

But it’s all changing!

The CasinoPlay crew are absolutely stoked to announce that a whole bunch of our local fave gambling partners like SunBet, PalaceBet, Betway, and the soon to be famous Play.co.za are now offering a full suite of online slots from the world’s top studios.

Finally, we can play Hell’s Kitchen, Jumanji, Wild Wild West, and Gonzo’s Quest with locally licensed partners.

It’s about time!

Local is lekker!

Why the excitement when we have access to a plethora of trusted, licensed, and quality international online casinos? Well, because we like local. We like the online casinos that are more than just a skin on a global machine. We like the mobile casinos that are after more than just our Randelas. We like that these operators are local, think local, deal local, and support local.

Yes, we know, the online slots games themselves are provided by and supported by international studios but hey, it’s a start. Maybe we’ll start seeing more South African studios developing and creating awesome slots games for our enjoyment.

And no, Microgaming may have been started by Saffers but they are by no means South African friendly. In fact, most international casinos that welcome South Africans won’t let us play Microgaming’s admittedly incredible line up if we are playing in Rands.

Shem!

Will this make any noticeable difference?

Oh yes! By opening up the opportunities for South African gamblers to play legally at locally licensed online gambling partners, the authorities are cutting down on the risk of players getting scammed or being duped by unscrupulous and dodgy offshore skabengas.

While the CasinoPlay crew are always reviewing and rating online and mobile casinos in an effort to bring only the most trusted and reputable options to our shores, not ever gambler reads our insightful articles and meticulous reviews.

This is going to go a long way to making online casino play safer for South Africans.

Play safe people!

With new opportunities comes new risks. As markets open so do the arms of the asshats who like ripping people off. Make sure you read our reviews, especially now that our local operators are bringing us more online casino games, to see which of these operators we recommend for your playing pleasure.
