Halloween is creeping closer, and Booming Games is getting into the spooky spirit with Vampires: Blood Moon, a brand-new slot that invites players to enter a world of creepy castles, mysterious coffins and blood-curdling bonus features. Released on 22 October 2026, this supernatural adventure arrives just in time for Halloween, making it an exciting addition to the seasonal slot line-up for South African casino fans.
Set against a haunting castle backdrop beneath a glowing blood moon, the game features a 5-reel, 4-row layout with 30 fixed paylines. But the real magic happens inside two mysterious coffins positioned above the reels!
Vampires: Blood Moon introduces two special collection features that keep the action interesting.
The Ruby Collection Coffin gathers Moon symbols that land during the game. Once enough have been collected, a Vampire Collect symbol can appear on the fifth reel to scoop up the accumulated prize values.
Meanwhile, the Emerald Free Spins Coffin collects Scatter symbols and can unlock 15 Evolving Free Spins. Players can also trigger the feature by landing Scatters on reels 1, 3 and 5 simultaneously.
During the bonus round, winning low-value symbols disappear from the reels, while higher-value silver symbols can upgrade to gold versions that pay double. Wild symbols are also collected throughout the feature and saved for a special Blood Moon Spin, where they return to the reels together for one final shot at a big payout.
With a maximum advertised win of up to 15,000x your bet, Vampires: Blood Moon brings plenty of excitement to its Halloween-inspired gameplay. The slot also features a reported hit rate of 32.29%, adding another interesting detail for players comparing its mechanics.
For those who enjoy getting straight to the bonus action, an optional feature-buy mechanic is also available.
With its gothic castle setting, creepy coffin mechanics and evolving bonus round, Vampires: Blood Moon by Booming Games is a fitting addition to this year’s Halloween slot selection. Whether you’re a fan of vampire legends or simply enjoy discovering new online slots, this release offers a suitably spooky way to celebrate the season.
South African players can look out for the game at online casinos offering Booming Games titles, although availability will vary between operators.
So, if you’re looking for something a little darker to play this Halloween, this blood moon adventure might just be worth a closer look!
